Emberheart Public Demo Release

Time has come to release my passion project to the public. Emberheart is a singleplayer topdown Action-RPG created by a solo developer.

I'm proud to announced that today I released the public demo version of Emberheart!

After 3 years of blood, sweat and tears I finally managed to prepare a playable demo. Feels good! But at the same time I realize I still have a long road ahead of me, starting with finishing the project far enough to release the game in Early Access on Steam at 30 September 2020!

In the current demo, you can play 1 character class, the Berserker, up to a maximum level of 60. (the max level in the final game will be 70) The first act is available to play, although this act is temporary and subject to change in the future when the story begins to shape up a bit more.

I had contact with a first publisher. They were very impressed and said the game has a lot of potential. But at the same time it's still too early for a publisher to work with me. I realize I still have a lot of work to do moving forward. But I am confident the project can become a success!

Please be aware that the current demo is an early demo version and can contain bugs, balance issues and missing content. I just couldn't delay the release of the demo any longer.

Here's a small overview of the plans for Emberheart in the coming months:

- 2 September 2020: Public demo released!

- 30 September 2020: Early Access release on Steam (Arround 13 dollar)

- 1 December - 31 January 2020-2021: Kickstarter campaign

- February 2021: Apply for additonal funding from Belgian Game Fund organization.

- We'll see what happens after that, but I do not plan to abandon this project, whatever happens with sales, kickstarter or funds application!
